How to: Modify a table by typing or editing data in Datasheet view.
Solution:
Open the table in the Datasheet view, type new record(s), and edit existing record(s).
1) If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
2) Open the table in the Table Datasheet view.
3) To type new record(s):
a) Click in the blank row at the bottom of the table.
b) Type the desired data in the first field of the new record.
c) Repeat Step 3)b) for each field in the new record just added.
d) Repeat steps 3)a) through 3)c) to add as many new records to the table as desired.
4) To edit existing record(s):
a) Click anywhere in the record to edit.
b) Click in the field to edit in that record.
c) Make the desired changes in the field cell.
d) Repeat steps 4)b) and 4)c) for each field to edit within that record.
e) Move to the next record to save the changes in the edited record.
f) Repeat steps 4)a) through 4)e) for each record to edit in the open table.
5) To close the Table Datasheet view, select the 'File' menu and select 'Close'. (The Table Datasheet closes, and the data changes are automatically saved.)
